Playful Palettes was started by a mum of three young boys, working part-time and looking for a way to be more available to her children's needs as they grow. 

I have a background in child care with a Diploma in Montessori from Montessori & Early Childhood Training Australia where I worked for a number of years. Coming back to New Zealand came with a change of direction until becoming a mum to twin boys in 2021 and then the birth of my youngest in 2025. Like all mum's I wanted to be there when needed for my children but still feeling like I myself have a purpose, from there Playful Palettes grew.
